Job Title: Paralegal

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

A large asset manager is looking for a Legal Analyst to join their team in San Francisco. This position will report to the Deputy General Counsel, and you will be joining a stable and growing firm with over 100b in AUM. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career to engage with senior executives and build experience in fund-related activities, deals, and corporate legal work.

In this role, you will work closely with the Deputy General Counsel and other senior legal professionals, gain exposure to fund formation, corporate legal matters, and transactions, and contribute meaningfully in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Salary: 110-140k + bonus

WFH Policy: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in either a law firm or corporate legal department, ideally with exposure to fund formation or investment management matters
• Understanding of common structures and transactions related to private investment funds
• Knowledge of key principles of corporate governance
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
