Summary

A Million Dreamz is looking for a responsible, accurate and kind person to manage the
financial operations of the organization in cooperation with the Board Treasurer,
ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported in
accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and nonprofit regulations.
The organization offers quality, affordable childcare, 24 hours a day and 7 days week, in
an all-inclusive and kind environment while providing resources, referrals, advocacy and
other services to encourage and support the continuing development of healthy families.

Duties

Responsibilities and Duties Include:
? Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization, including cash
management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll.
? Manage the month end close process, reconciling accounts and reporting.
? Monitor and maintain accurate and complete financial records, ensuring
compliance with accounting standards and regulations for nonprofit
organizations.
? Work with the Executive Director and Board Treasurer to prepare annual
budgets, financial forecasts, and provide information and reports to management
on financial matters.
? Work with external auditors and Board Treasurer to prepare annual financial
statements and tax returns.
? Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure the
organization's financial operations meet internal control standards and are
efficient and effective.
? Prepare financial information for grant proposals and reports, ensuring
compliance with grant requirements and regulations.
? Execute the day to day operations of the internal Flex Rate Program, the CACFP
food program and other programs for which the organization qualifies.

Requirements

Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
? Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a nonprofit
organization.
? Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and regulations.

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Must possess strong time management skills.
? Proficiency in frequently used accounting software and the aptitude to learn new
software.
? Experience with grant accounting and reporting preferred.
? Must pass a background check.
