Part-Time Weekend Nanny Needed in Northbrook

A warm and welcoming family in Northbrook is seeking a dependable, part-time weekend nanny to care for their two daughters, ages 5 and 1. The general schedule is Fridays from 5:00–9:00pm and Sundays from 11:00am–4:00pm, with occasional weekday evening hours available (planned in advance). The household also includes a friendly family dog.

The Ideal Candidate:
The family is looking for someone consistent, nurturing, and reliable—someone who can build a meaningful connection with the children. A loving, empathetic, and proactive approach is key. The right candidate will take initiative, keep the girls engaged, and help foster their growth and independence in a supportive environment.

Start date: The week of August 18th

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing meals and snacks for the children

• Light laundry for the children as needed

• Tidying up shared areas and encouraging the children to participate in cleanup
