A CRG client within the Marketing Services and Retail consulting space is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their team. Location : Charlotte, NC

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm - 4 days onsite, 1 remote

Compensation : $85,000

Opportunity : Direct-Hire

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and input multi-state payroll data using the Workday system and/or OneSource Virtual (OSV).
  • Ensure timely and precise payroll processing while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports, including but not limited to gross pay, hours worked, tax and benefit deductions, and vacation accruals.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner while enforcing corporate payroll policies.
  • Manage payroll-related deductions, including wage garnishments and benefit withholdings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
  • Conduct employment verifications and reference checks pertaining to payroll.
  • Maintain and regularly update payroll reports, including quarterly headcount data.
  • Support and coordinate payroll-related training sessions and recommend educational resources when needed.
  • Deliver outstanding internal customer service to employees and leadership.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer).
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Professional demeanor with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a commitment to producing detailed and precise work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Advanced experience with Workday and/or OSV payroll systems is highly preferred.
  • Experience with California and/or Canadian payroll is a plus but not required.
