Job Description
The Staff Mail Operations Pharmacist ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques and a review process prior to shipping medications to patients. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Supports the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technicians in a way to successfully drive growth and improve overall performance in the pharmacy.
The Staff Mail Operations Pharmacist must perform in a focused, accurate, intentional and highly productive manner. Must be able to develop methodologies and strategies to continuously improve consumer experiences.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
• Experience in a high-volume Retail or Mail Order pharmacy practice environment.
• Must have an active unrestricted Florida Pharmacist License.
• Ability to complete Quality Assurance task standing for 8 hours.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of NRX/QS1, RxNova
• Spanish speaking a plus
• Proficient with computers
• 3+yrs. Experience in a high-volume Retail or Mail Order pharmacy practice environment
