Job Title: Retail Pharmacist

Location: Mauston, WI

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Monday - Friday (Shifts vary between 8am-6pm or 9am-7pm); Every 3rd Saturday (8am-1pm)

Position Overview:

Pride Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team in Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed pharmacists with experience in retail dispensing, clinical pharmacy services, and supervising pharmacy staff. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication distribution, patient consultations, and managing pharmacy operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficient in pharmacy practice including but not limited to the following areas: Retail dispensing & Home health aids.
• Performs other related prescription activities such as taking verbal prescriptions, filling of prescriptions, dispensing and verbal consultation.
• Performs and/or supervises pharmaceutical compounding activities.
• Provides clinical pharmacy services, including medical history collection, therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing consultations, drug information and education.
• Participates in and follows standards of departmental quality control and quality assurance programs.
• Oversees inventory control activities such as monitoring inventory levels, ordering, receiving, stocking and shipping.

Qualifications:

• Education : Professional Pharmacy Degree (Doctorate preferred)
• License : Wisconsin Pharmacist License required (or temporary Wisconsin license with the expectation of obtaining a permanent license within 60 days).
• Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Experience : 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy or a healthcare setting.
• Other Skills : Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and patient safety.
