Our client, a leading pelvic health physical therapy clinic, is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join their team. This person would be responsible for providing evidence-based evaluation, treatment, and case management of patients with pelvic health, neurologic, vestibular, and orthopedic conditions. The therapist ensures safe, effective, and patient-centered care while upholding the clinic’s standards of excellence in education, collaboration, and clinical outcomes. This position also contributes to professional and community education efforts that promote wellness, prevention, and awareness of physical therapy’s role in health across the lifespan.
Responsibilities :
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify impairments, functional limitations, and participation restrictions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based interventions.
• Manage the patient’s plan of care throughout the episode of treatment, ensuring continuity and progress toward established goals.
• Supervise and provide direction to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff in accordance with Alabama state practice regulations.
• Educate patients and caregivers on movement, pelvic health, posture, and behavioral strategies that support long-term outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with referring providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure quality outcomes.
• Complete all documentation in accordance with payer, compliance, and organizational standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and internal mentorship programs.
• Contribute to community education initiatives, including workshops, public presentations, and outreach events that promote pelvic health, fall prevention, neurologic wellness, and overall movement literacy.
• Support clinic culture by modeling professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
