A Skilled Nursing Facility in White Plains is currently seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team.

About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapist will:

Provides direct resident treatment under an established plan of care under physician's order. Typical treatments include, but not limited to: therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities, gait training, neuromuscular re-education and other therapeutic exercises to promote functional independence.
Provides therapy sessions using physical agent modalities (i.e. therapeutic heat/ice) and other manual therapy interventions to assist in alleviating pain, improve impairments and disabilities to restore and maintain functional independence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, Masters Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Current state licensure in the state of hire. Physical Therapists with temporary license and pending examination schedule are eligible if required Physical Therapist supervision can be accommodated
