Our firm Capstone specializes in placing top talent in the food & beverage industry and we have partnered with a global food manufacturing company hiring for an experienced Production Supervisor

Hours: 1st Shift (5:30am - 3:00pm)

Shift: Monday-Friday (rare weekends)

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 w/ 10-15% bonus

Full Benefits , PTO, 401K, 2 weeks, 5 sick days

Overview

Supervise a team of employees in the most efficient method within all rules and regulations established by the company to achieve all established goals.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP, corporate, regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation standards to ensure safe food production.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues.
• Train employees on safety, chemical handling, and cleaning procedures.
• Promote and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and document waste and resource use to enhance cost and quality.
• Review and adjust production schedules and personnel as needed.
• Set and review operating parameters with the Plant Manager.
• Coach and develop team leaders, ensuring effective communication and operations.
• Oversee Food Safety Plan, quality control, and sanitation.
• Assist with audits (USDA, AIB, etc.), and manage plant safety programs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance for equipment upkeep.
• Support Lab and warehouse departments.
• Complete tasks in SAP, Kronos, and other plant systems.

Requirements:

Associates or Bachelors Degree

3+ years of supervisory experience

Experience in food & beverage manufacturing

Bi-Lingual (Spanish)
