Job Description

Role Description

This is a newly created, full-time position based in Nashville, TN. The role is primarily in-office and project-site focused; however, InForm Advisory supports a hybrid work arrangement when responsibilities allow. This position requires adaptability and comfort balancing office work, site visits, and client/team coordination. As an Owner's Rep position, this role represents the owner’s interests and requires independent judgment, clear documentation, and the ability to synthesize input from multiple parties. This position offers a competitive salary with performance-based growth opportunities

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in design or construction, serving as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager on commercial construction projects. They bring a working knowledge of the disciplines involved in delivering a construction project and are comfortable coordinating and communicating across those disciplines.

This person is self-driven, highly organized, and proactive, with the ability to lead meetings, ask thoughtful questions, and clearly document decisions, action items, and next steps. They enjoy working in a small, collaborative team environment and take ownership of their work rather than waiting for direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple workstreams in a hybrid-flexible environment
  • Maintain organization across project documentation, schedules, and communications
  • Stay informed of overall project progress and key risks
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and meeting minutes
  • Track follow-up items, action items, and decisions
  • Assist with updating project schedules and milestone tracking
  • Assist with budget tracking, cost reporting, and change management
  • Maintain risk logs and action item trackers
  • Support on-site coordination and attend project meetings and site visits as needed

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in:
  • Architecture
  • Engineering
  • Construction Management
  • (or a closely related field)

Software

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Bluebeam experience preferred
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Smartsheet, Procore, or similar) is a plus

Benefits

  • 20 days of paid time off annually
  • 9 paid holidays per year
  • Healthcare insurance stipend

This Role Is a Good Fit If You:

  • Are interested in helping grow a small, entrepreneurial business
  • Are open to learning through shadowing and hands-on onboarding
  • Enjoy work that is not exclusively desk-based
  • Are comfortable asking questions and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • You're a collaborator who can balance firmness with professionalism
  • Naturally think 2–3 steps ahead
  • Enjoy collaborating with a variety of personalities and disciplines
  • Are energized by organization, coordination, and supporting team success

This Role Is Likely Not a Fit If You:

  • Prefer working independently with minimal interaction
  • Expect prescriptive direction rather than taking initiative
  • Are uncomfortable holding others accountable in a professional, respectful way
  • Struggle with attention to detail or follow-through
  • Are seeking a short-term role rather than a long-term opportunity
