Quality Assurance Drywall Inspector

Signature Homes is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Drywall Inspector to join our team in our Birmingham, AL market. This role will be assisting with the entire sheetrock process across all of our Birmingham communities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage drywall subcontractor performance and processes, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
• Assist with new vendor onboarding for interior paint and sheetrock trades
• Inspect subcontractor sheetrock work to confirm it meets established quality standards
• Communicate variances and construction discrepancies to builders, ensuring prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong knowledge of construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be physically able to inspect construction sites including walking properties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• 3+ years of experience in residential construction or related field with a concentration in drywall and painting a huge plus
