The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional dental care, including dental periodontal treatments, patient education, x-rays, periodontal charting, panoramic x-rays, and Itero scans. The candidate must be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and work well within a team environment. This position requires the use of loupes for enhanced precision and accuracy. Responsibilities of Dental Hygienist:
1. Perform dental periodontal treatments with precision and attention to detail.
2. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
3. Take accurate x-rays and panoramic images to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
4. Maintain thorough and accurate periodontal charts for patient records.
5. Utilize Itero scanning technology for digital impressions and dental health scans.
6. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
7. Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and treatment areas.
8. Understand periodontal grading and staging.
9. Make informed decisions with the patient's best interest in mind, considering their oral health needs and preferences.
Qualifications:
1. Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Florida.
2. Certification in dental radiography.
3. Proficiency in performing periodontal treatments and charting.
4. Experience with panoramic x-rays and Itero scanning preferred.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
9. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
