We are AZPetVet, a family of 22 general practice hospitals that are thriving in the “The Valley of the Sun.” Our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients and their beloved companions has allowed us to flourish, and we are continually seeking to grow our teams with seasoned veterinarians and recent graduates.

We are currently looking to add both Relief and Floating Veterinarians to our team, providing ultimate flexibility and work/life balance!

Here is how the roles differ:

Floating Veterinarian:

• As a Floating Veterinarian, you will have the opportunity to travel between and collaborate with our 22 Phoenix area hospitals
• Whether you want to work 1 day per week or 4, we will work with you to build your ideal schedule. You’ll also have a consistent and predicable schedule, as opposed to relief
• You can expect full benefits (health/dental/vision) along with dedicated PTO, sick and CE days
• A guaranteed salary around $150,000 + quarterly production (based on experienced and full-time schedule)
• Up to $10,000 in annual CE allowance
• Up to $40,000 signing bonus for full-time
• No non-competes
• Experienced support teams and a support ratio of at least 2-1

Relief Veterinarian:

• As a Relief Veterinarian, you’ll have the opportunity to “pop in” for a shift once a week or once a month. It’s up to you! This position does not provide benefits, but you will have access to our network of 100+ doctors
• You can expect a rate of $150 per hour
• Our shifts are either 7:30am-5pm or 9:30am-7pm
• Experienced support teams and a support ratio of at least 2-1

Requirements:

• You must be a graduate of an AVMA-accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program)
• Possession of AZ veterinary license and willingness to continually meet licensing requirements
