Restaurant Supplies Buyer
Our client is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Supplies Buyer to support their thriving operations. The ideal candidate will manage procurement of foodservice products, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. This role demands strong market awareness, analytical skills, and the ability to foster productive supplier relationships.

Focus:
- Manage procurement activities for foodservice supplies, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Partner with internal departments such as production, logistics, and quality assurance to anticipate supply needs and ensure prompt fulfillment.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers to optimize cost and value.
- Assess supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier interactions.
- Stay informed on market trends and industry developments to guide purchasing strategies and mitigate risks.
- Reconcile invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely supplier payments in coordination with the finance team.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards regarding quality, safety, and sustainability.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in procurement, with a preference for backgrounds in foodservice or manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement platforms.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
