💡 Position Purpose

Join a mission-driven team at Saint Francis Hospital , where we provide exceptional care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions—from dysrhythmias and atherosclerotic disease to post-surgical recovery following CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, and more. Our Surgical Cardiology Unit also supports patients recovering from thoracic, vascular, and general surgeries, offering nurses a rich and diverse clinical experience.

As a Nurse Manager , you’ll lead a high-performing, interdisciplinary team in a supportive environment that fosters professional growth, clinical excellence, and compassionate care.

🩺 What You Will Do

• Lead and mentor a collaborative team of RNs, LPNs, PA/APRNs, Cardiothoracic Surgeons, and Hospitalists
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, and patient care delivery
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning

✅ Minimum Qualifications

• Education: BSN required; MSN preferred
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive nursing experience in acute care, with leadership responsibilities
• Licensure: Active RN license in Connecticut
• Certifications: BLS (AHA/ARC) required
• Preferred Experience: Cardiology, Medical-Surgical, or Critical Care nursing

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Day shift
