Russell Tobin is seeking a Robotics Lab Operator for an innovative AI research organization in San Francisco, CA.

Job Title: Robotics Lab Operator

Location : San Francisco, CA 94110

Job Type : Contract

Length : 6 Months (with potential for extension)

Shifts:

Current 1st shift is 9:00am – 5:30pm, however it will change in the near future to:

1st Shift: 6:30am-2:30pm

2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 10:30pm

3rd Shift: 10:30pm – 6:30am

Pay Rate : $22 per hour

Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Operator to support data collections efforts within our Robotics laboratory. In this role, you will work with the Lab Operations team to perform routine tests and data collection, and ensure a clean and safe lab environment. This role is critical in supporting research, development, and quality assurance activities.

Additional details:

• 90% data collection with robotics systems.
• Operate robotics systems and control with a tablet.
• The system collects data, and lab technicians manipulate robotics through a control system.
• 5% hardware assembly support
• 5% lab maintenance (working with the robots and power supplies)

Requirements:

• Experience in a lab, manufacturing, or technical environment
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods
