Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Manager located in Wentzville, MO. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of safety protocols and procedures. The role involves conducting safety training, investigating accidents, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization. The Safety Manager will also ensure compliance with Departoment of Transportaion /FMCSA rules and regulations Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Recruit, screen, and interview applicants for driving positions
• Make certain all new driver candidates meet state and federal guidelines
• Experience in Safety Training and Industrial Safety
• Monitor compliance with Hours of Service regulations, ELD usage, pre/post trip
• Competence in Accident Investigation and Risk Assessment
• Conduct post-accident and post-injury investigations; root cause analysis; and ensure

proper completion of required documentation and reporting to the proper agencies

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA, CSP, or equivalent
