HSE Manager

140K to 160K Base + Large Quarterly Bonus + Great Benefits + Matching 7% 401K + Relocation

SUMMARY

Establish programs, guidelines and strategies to manage health, safety, workers compensation, security and environmental opportunities. The scope of this position includes employee training, new hire orientation, operational safety, environmental, workers compensation, site security and maintenance issues. Manage and coordinate safety and environmental compliance initiatives, projects, corrective actions, and incident investigations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Four year college degree in safety or related field and ten years of related experience. Technical training skills, auditing, and supervisor experience desired. Willingness to work in a 24hour 7 day per week manufacturing environment
• Ability to travel to other Company facilities. Ability to work a flexible schedule with weekend and/or back shift hours as required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Good writing skills. Ability to focus on details and understand the overall impact of events and decisions. Demonstrated competency in the technical and training skills required to fulfill the position’s responsibilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA and NVCAP requirements and the potential safety hazards
• Knowledge of Environmental requirements and the potential hazards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Strong Computer Skills (database, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.).
