Job Description
Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to assessment findings and student goals, with an emphasis on enhancing functional skills and participation in both academic and social activities.
Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to seamlessly integrate therapy goals into the virtual classroom and home environment, providing effective strategies and accommodations to foster student success.
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed, using data-driven decision-making to ensure positive outcomes.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Washington state licensure (ESA) or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Recent experience working as an occupational therapist in a school setting.
