📌 School Guidance Counselor (ESY Summer Program)

💼 Contract | K-12 | Summer 2025

💰 $40–$46/hour

🕒 Monday–Thursday | Morning Hours | Full Days on First and Last Days

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Guidance Counselor to support students during an Extended School Year (ESY) summer program in the Gages Lake, IL area. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for a licensed professional who is passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Program Dates :
• Staff : Tuesday, June 10 – Thursday, July 10
• Students : Wednesday, June 11 – Thursday, July 10
• No School on Thursday, June 19 or Fridays
• Daily Schedule :
• Staff Hours : Mon–Thurs, 8:15 AM – 12:15 PM
• Student Hours : Mon–Thurs, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Full Days for Staff on June 10 and July 10 : 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM
• Caseload : K–12 (flexibility across grades preferred)
• Location : Gages Lake area – specific site info provided upon interview
• Compensation : $40–$46/hour, based on experience and credentials

📋 Requirements :

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Endorsement in School Counseling
• Prior experience in a school-based or counseling setting strongly preferred
• Passion for working with diverse learners and supporting emotional wellness
