Location: Gurnee, 60031
Dates: August 18, 2025 – May 29, 2026
Hours: 7:25 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Salary: $58,000 - $70,000 / Hourly: $43.94 – $53.03
AnthroMed Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Gurnee for the 2025-2026 school year. In this role, you will work with early childhood and Kindergarten students, ages 3-6, to support them in a collaborative and supportive school environment. You will have your own space and enjoy a duty-free lunch, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Individualized Therapy : Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans (IEPs).
- Therapy Sessions : Provide one-on-one and small group therapy sessions based on individual needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions.
- Collaboration : Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other school professionals to support students’ communication skills across all areas of learning.
- Progress Monitoring : Regularly track and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Parent Communication : Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and offering strategies for supporting students
- Embrace Platform : Utilize the Embrace platform for case management, IEP documentation, and tracking student progress.
- Team Support : Collaborate with fellow Social Workers to share resources, strategies, and insights to better serve students' needs.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work.
- Illinois PEL with an endorsement in Social Work.
- Previous experience with Elementary students is preferred, but not required.
