Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate automatic or manual Screen Printing Press.
- Tape screens so ink only goes through the design.
- Align the screens to the press pallets.
- Line up registration marks.
- Learn angles of squeegees for ink.
- Put ink on the screens.
- Load shirts on the pallet.
- Retrieve screens.
- Gather the garments needed for each job.
- Set up jobs/colors.
- Break down the screens by removing and taking them to get cleaned.
- Make sure all the coloration is correct when printed on the garments.
- Complete a test print for each order to measure and get manager approval.
- During a run ensure that garments are straight and even on pallet.
- Identify and troubleshoot as needed on the machine.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements:
- Experience with manual and/or automatic t-shirt presses.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work at least 32 hours a week, Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM.
- Must show strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Work in a Warehouse environment with heated machines. Work does have a bay door open, so include Florida weather conditions of high heat/humidity, and wet weather conditions.
- Perform kneeling, squatting, bending floor-to-waist/waist-to-overhead, reaching overhead.
- Simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (tools/keyboard/writing).
- Perform all cleaning duties with the use of cleaning chemicals.
- Engage in extensive walking and/or standing.
- May sit/stand for several hours at a time.
- Frequent change and/or interruptions.
- Repetitive movements.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour.
Schedule: - 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred).
Work Location: In person.
