Description SAIC Security has an opportunity for a highly motivated and customer service oriented Security Analyst to support Huntsville, AL security operations.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assisting with the preparation and completion of security audits and government inspections
- Routinely operates within these databases - SIMS/DISS
- Processes personnel security clearances; verify visitor clearances, COMSEC, CAC Re-verifications, etc.
- Assist in overseeing the day-to-day security operations, including physical security measures, access control systems, surveillance systems, and security patrols
- Assists with enforcing implementation of visitor control and processing certifications for visitors to customer sites
- Processes personnel security clearances; verify visitor clearances, COMSEC, CAC Re-verifications, etc.
- Ensure proper handling of classified materials
- Coordinates and transmits document control as directed; receipt/dispatch
- Prepares and conducts program briefings associated with executed NDAs
- Reviews documents for proper classification markings
- Supports meetings to ensure compliance with administrative security safeguards
- Supports security processing- courier, scheduling, tracking, and facilitating personnel inquiries andinvestigations
- Assist with ensuring facility compliance with all security policies and directives
- Perform general clerical duties as required.
Qualifications Required Skills and Education: - Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience or Masters and one year of related experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. An additional four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current/active Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to a TS/SCI after hire
- Must have related industrial, physical or personnel security experience
- Must be able to operate in a fast paced environment
- Must have experience with DoD Community organizations
- Must have knowledge of the design and execution of security programs in accordance with 32 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR), Part 117 NISPOM.
- Must have skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel) and Outlook (email, calendars)
- Must be able to execute time management, analyze problems, and provide potential solutions.
- Must be responsive to deadlines and completeness in accomplishing assignments
- Must have great attention to detail
- Must be a skillful communicator
Desired Skills: - 1-2 years of experience in industrial security
