This strategic leadership role is instrumental in driving compliance, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, and ensuring long-term sustainability across a complex, multi-site organization.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful global impact—improving lives through responsible operations while shaping the future of EHS practices within a high-growth, mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a distributed team of EHS and Sustainability professionals across multiple regions, establishing consistent standards and fostering professional growth.

Risk Management

  • Conduct enterprise-wide EHS risk assessments and implement proactive strategies to minimize environmental, health, safety, and security risks.

Incident Prevention & Response

  • Oversee incident investigations and root cause analyses, ensuring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Training & Education

  • Design and deliver EHS training programs to enhance awareness, accountability, and compliance across all levels of the organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with key departments including Operations, R&D, Legal, HR, and Supply Chain to embed EHS and sustainability practices into core business processes.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track, analyze, and report on key EHS performance indicators; provide timely updates to senior leadership and regulatory agencies as required.

Regulatory & Industry Engagement

  • Stay current on global EHS regulations, standards, and best practices. Engage with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and external stakeholders as an EHS ambassador.

Audit Readiness

  • Ensure facilities are prepared for internal audits and external assessments related to EHS management systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in EHS leadership within manufacturing and distribution environments
  • Extensive knowledge of EHS regulations, sustainability reporting frameworks, and global EHS management systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization
  • Working knowledge of ISO and OSHA standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital EHS tools

What’s Offered:

  • Competitive compensation and benefits + 25% bonus
  • Paid time off and company-supported volunteer time
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Paid parental leave and adoption assistance
  • Wellness programs and employee health initiatives
  • A mission-driven, values-based work environment focused on impact and integrity

This is more than just a leadership role—it’s a chance to shape the global EHS strategy of a purpose-driven company and lead with influence, vision, and purpose.
