SUMMARY OF JOB:

Serve as a leader for the Loan Assistants. Responsible for day-to-day scheduling, staffing issues, and ensuring compliance with all procedures, policies, and compliance requirements. Strong understanding of board policies, department guidelines, and banking regulations. Oversee the loan assistants in all phases of processing and servicing loans to ensure excellent customer experience. Expected to assist in enhancing the relationship with the business members throughout the life of the loan and cultivating new loan opportunities. Model courteous, efficient, helpful, and accurate behaviors, as well as cultivating key internal networks with essential business partners.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Work directly with lenders, credit approvers and loan operations to ensure loan documents are prepared in accordance with credit approval, loan documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Act as a resource for identifying and resolving more complex customer service issues.
  3. Ensure compliance with security and audit procedures.
  4. Ability to train other bank associates in the various lending programs used by the Bank.
  5. Maintain current knowledge and follow all bank financial and security regulations and procedures.

  7. Familiarity in reviewing corporate organizational documents, UCC filings and deeds of trusts.
  8. Experience with attorney prepared and LaserPro loan documents.
  9. Expedience in real estate closings.
  10. Ability to manage multiple loan closings.
Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; College Degree Preferred

Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in retail banking or financial services

Supervisory Experience: 1-2 years preferred

Licenses/Accreditations: N/A

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; 10-Key by touch is preferable

Other Requirements: Basic knowledge and understanding of state and federal lending laws; strong understanding of environmental and appraisal policies and procedures. Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and priorities. Ability to lead, motivate, and foster teamwork. Ability to effectively discern information and formulate appropriate action. Ability to think critically and provide appropriate solutions. Detail-oriented; decision-making capabilities. Must be able to use fingers, hands, and wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, and operating a telephone.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior supervisory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy; professional and courteous communication skills. Strong oral, written customer service skills.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service: Strong emphasis on excellent customer service skills; ability to work effectively with both internal and external contacts. Maintains confidentiality in handling customer and bank information.

Financial: Familiarity with financial terms and practices; mathematical calculations.

Administrative Duties: N/A

Autonomy: Discretion for recognizing and minimizing risk to the bank.

The applicant who is selected for this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Targeted hiring range based on experience: $65,000 - $80,000 yearly. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications and other considerations permitted by law under the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules.
  • Bonus Eligibility: Annual bonus based on Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company Discretion.
