ETRM Implementation Program Manager
HOUSTON, Texas (Hybrid)
1 Year + (Potential to Extend) (Possibility of converted to full Time)
ETRM SaaS Experience needed.
Energy Trading and Risk Management Software as a Service.
The ETRM & Financial Point Solutions Implementation Program Manager leads enterprise-scale Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) and financial point solution implementations (including Anaplan) from strategy through delivery and optimization, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with strong business adoption. The role combines hands-on technical/functional project management with deep energy/commodities trading expertise to support front, middle, and back-office operations in a complex stakeholder environment
Skills
- 10+ years’ progressive experience as a Project/Program Manager or Senior Business/Technical Lead delivering complex ETRM/CTRM implementations and upgrades at enterprise scale.?
- Hands-on experience in energy and commodities trading environments (power, gas, liquids, renewables or similar) supporting front, middle, and back-office processes.
- Experience leading implementations or major enhancements of at least one major ETRM platform (e.g., RightAngle, Endur, Allegro, Orchestrade) and integrating with downstream financial and reporting systems.
- Strong capability with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for trading, risk, and finance stakeholders.
- Oversee configuration, integration, and data migration between ETRM, Anaplan, ERP, data warehouse, and BI/reporting platforms, ensuring data quality and reconciliations.
- Establish and execute test strategies (SIT, UAT, regression, performance), including test planning, defect triage, and go/no-go criteria in Agile or hybrid environments.
- Manage vendor engagements (ETRM platforms, Anaplan partners, system integrators) including SOWs, deliverables, SLAs, and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master
- CPA, CFA, or strong financial/accounting background supporting complex settlement, P&L, and reporting requirements.
- Experience in global energy or trading organizations with multi-region portfolios and complex physical and financial products, and in defining and tracking value realization from ETRM and Anaplan initiatives.
