Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Low Voltage

Location: Los Angeles, CA, 90063

Duration: 12 Months Contract (Good Possibilities of extension)

Position Description:

• The Senior PM; designs or conducts analytical studies, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses or other research; evaluates, monitors or ensures compliance with laws, regulations, policies, standards or procedures; identifies standards or requirements for change management; participates in change control (for example, reviewing change requests); implements information systems security plans and procedures; and ensures appropriate product-related training and documentation are developed and made available to customers.

Skills Preferred:

• Strong skills in leadership, risk management, and negotiations. Ability to manage time effectively and be detailed oriented.
• Good understanding of budgeting. Experience working with infrastructure and IT low voltage systems.

Experience Required:

• This classification requires a minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools.
• At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT project.

Experience Preferred:

• A minimum of (3) continuous years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible Low Voltage Project Management experience planning, designing, and installing of Networks, Wireless Networks, VoIP systems, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), Access Control systems, cloud services and premise wiring systems.

Education Required:

• This classification requires the possession of (a) a bachelor’s degree, and (b) a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), which will be verified during the RFO process.
• Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience.
