Job Description
Pacifica Christian High School is looking for a full-time instructor to teach Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. Ideal candidates hold a degree in Spanish and have experience developing and delivering a rigorous curriculum to a diverse group of students. Candidates well versed in an immersive approach to language learning is a plus. We expect all Pacifica employees to support our community-wide project to use academics, extracurriculars, and personal relationships as a means of grace to help all involved become more fully human in the recognition and restoration of the image of God within us.
Ideal qualifications for this position are:
- Qualified to teach 5 sections of Spanish 1 & 2.
- B.A. or higher in Spanish or related field (given fluency in Spanish).
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting.
- Desire to teach high school students.
- Willingness to uphold Pacifica's standards of personal presentation, preparation, punctuality, professional courtesy, and discretion.
- Enthusiasm for the school's Christian mission and values.
