Job Description
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) for a full-time, school-based role in the Tampa, FL area for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a great opportunity for experienced clinicians or Clinical Fellows eager to support students in a dynamic educational environment.
Requirements:
- Active Florida SLP license (must be current)
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) welcome but must secure their own supervision
- Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strongly prefer experience with special education students and families
Typical Job Duties:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning
- Support and educate staff and families regarding speech/language needs
- Comply with district policies and ASHA guidelines
Position Details:
- Full-time, contract position for the 2025–2026 academic year
- Based within a local school district in Tampa, FL
