Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Fort Worth, TX. Interested? 

Here's what you'd do:

• This role provides technical support
• Perform a variety of duties in support of end users for IT hardware and/or software. 
• Set up and configure PC's 
• Evaluates and tests software programs to verify functionality according to specifications and standards 
• Demonstrates excellent customer service
• Extensive j ob-related MS Office suite and outlook usage
• Install and configure network devices (i.e. network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.). Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops)
• Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
• Assist in the relocation of customer employees on the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in new location).Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)
• Assist with imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment.
• Experience with Automation and Pipeline tools administration i.e. Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Nexus, OpenStack
• Experience with standard scripting languages (i.e., Perl, Bash, PowerShell, YAML, etc.)
• Experience with virtualization platforms (i.e., VMware, Horizon, Azure, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, Hyper-V, etc.)

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $26/hour 

Schedule: 4x10, Monday-Thursday

Length: Long-term, W-2  contract with  opportunity of yearly extension

Job Requirements

Here's what requirements you'll need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of experience migrating workstations to WIN 9 or 10
• Minimum of 3 years of experience demonstrating professional desktop support history with a variety of platforms / systems / applications and tools
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in connectivity and telecommunications/networking
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Linux Operating Systems in an enterprise environment (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 8, 9)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Windows Operating Systems in an enterprise environment (i.e., Windows 10, 11, GPO, Active Directory, Teams, Exchange, Skype etc.)

Additional Information: 

- Clean driving record as an MVR might be ran. Please note, you must be comfortable potentially driving company vehicles/cars from site to site. 

- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

- Possible lifting may be required up to 50 lbs.  

- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Security Clearance
