Overview:
As the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our supply chain operations. From procurement and inventory management to logistics and distribution, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and products throughout our supply chain network. You will lead a team of supply chain professionals, driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service levels. Additionally, the candidate will need to be able to travel domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Lead the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management, to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, sales, and finance, to forecast demand, develop inventory plans, and ensure alignment across the organization.
- Oversee inventory management activities, including demand planning, replenishment, and inventory optimization, to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while maintaining high service levels.
- Manage transportation and logistics operations, including carrier selection, freight negotiations, and transportation planning, to optimize freight costs and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Implement supply chain solutions, supply chain analytics tools, to streamline processes, improve visibility, and enhance decision-making capabilities.
- Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to drive employee engagement and professional growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous process enhancements.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain management, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
- A minimum of 8 years' progressive experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in leading and optimizing supply chain operations
- A minimum of 6 years experience leading or managing a team
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results and driving operational excellence.
- Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
Preferred
- Masters of Science or Masters of Business Administration
- Professional certifications in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) are a plus
Salary Range : $121,425 - $154,681 annually. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well business results.
