A manufacturing company is offering an immediate, full-time position for a Submerged Arc Welder. Work hours are second shift, from 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Job Duties:
Weld and fabricate with steel and alloy plate
Perform flux core and/or submerged arc welding
Use basic shop math
Read and interpret blueprints
Utilize saws, shears, burning, press brake machines, plate rolls, and hand plasma torch
Lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications:
Must have Flux Core and Submerged Arc welding experience
Must have ASME and AWS Welding requirements
Must be able to weld and fabricate steel and alloy plate
Must be able to use hand tools, Bug-O Track Welding and Burning Systems, as well as, Press Brake Machines
Must understand basic shop math
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and welding requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with no problems
Must be detail-oriented and safety-conscious
