Surgical Technologist

Location: Beckley, WV 25801
Salary Range: $38,000 - $63,500, based on experience
Signing Bonus: $25,000
Relocation Package: partial

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist (ST) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• Residency within a 30-minute radius of the hospital for on-call duties.
• Preferably one year of experience in a hospital setting.
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist is desired.

Position Summary:

The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in our medical team, performing essential scrub duties and assisting with patient care under the supervision of the Circulating RN. This position ensures the highest quality of patient care through technical and manual skills.

Responsibilities:

• Execute scrub duties as assigned.
• Aid in keeping a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in patient care and communicate with charge nurses.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
• Utilize knowledge effectively for age-related patient care.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Must be a graduate from a Surgical Technology program or have 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist if lacking a diploma.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an Operating Room as a Technician preferred.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in high-stress environments.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
