Employment Solutions is partnering with an industry leader to hire a System Test Engineer to work a hybrid schedule in Carrollton, TX. 2 days onsite/3 days remote. This is a direct hire full-time position with outstanding benefits!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of test strategies, specifications, and plans. Use your strong technical, analytical and testing skills
- to contribute to the design, build and implementation of test automation suites that provide testing of the products.
- As part of a small team, your creative product test will directly support the customer experience and advance our leadership in this growing market.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be US Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical training with 3+ years related experience.
- 3 + years of experience in WAN/LAN/OLAN testing or equivalent technical training or continuing education
- Experience of Networking (OSI model and protocols) with a focus on L2 (e.g. LLDP, xSTP, ACLs, MAB, 802.1x)
- Participated in automated test development with a preference to using Quali Systems Cloudshell/Testshell automation development tools
- Expertise in Python programming language and script generation
- Hands-on experience using traffic generators such as IXIA or Spirent test Center
- Knowledge of overlaying GPON, XGPON and NGPON services onto a single fiber a plus
