Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Location: Bronx, NY

Pay Rate: $79.39 to $89.39/Hourly | $3,084/Weekly

Position Type: Contract | Night Shift

Schedule:

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• Hours/Week: 34.5

• Shifts/Week: 3 (11.5-hour shifts)

• Rotating weekends and holidays required

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery to provide exceptional maternal and newborn care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate is committed, experienced, and ready to contribute to a dynamic and supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit

• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being during labor and delivery

• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures

• Administer medications including conscious sedation as needed

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Document nursing care accurately and timely

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Maternal & Child Health or Labor & Delivery unit

• Skilled in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation

Required Certifications & Licenses:

• Active New York State RN License (verified via primary source)

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
