The
TSA Consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely intercompany billing related to Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs). This position will involve reconciling intercompany transactions, preparing invoices and maintaining detailed records. The company operates on a hybrid basis in their office in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago.
TSA Consultant Responsibilities: - Prepare and process intercompany invoices for TSA-related transactions
- Ensure accurate application of billing rates and terms
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile intercompany accounts related to TSAs, including reviewing supporting documentation
- Identify and investigate any discrepancies or inconsistencies
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve reconciliation issues
- Maintain detailed records of intercompany transactions, including invoices, supporting documentation and reconciliation reports
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards
- Assist in analyzing intercompany financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed
- Provide support for intercompany-related projects, such as system implementations or process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
TSA Consultant Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in intercompany accounting or a similar role
- Experience with Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs)
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with multiple accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blackline, OneStream)
- Strong understanding of intercompany accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
