**This is a full time role for an initial 6 month period with potential for extension. The role is onsite, based in Houston, United States.

Project Description

Our client, a global strategy consulting firm, is working with a large US based petrochemicals business.

Key Requirements

• Deep experience and expertise in plant turnarounds/shut downs (chemicals, refining or downstream)
• Review current turnaround program and suggest ideas / initiatives to reduce cost / shorten time / improve performance
• Suggest ideas to improve turnaround planning and design process
• Suggest ideas how to setup Turnaround COE (Center of Excellence) from organisation structure, manning & playbook perspective.
• Able to be based on-site in Houston at least 4 days a week

Ideal Profile

• Held roles such as Head of Turnaround/shutdown / Turnaround Centre of Excellence
• Experience in the following organisations are an advantage:
• Dow Chemicals
• Dupont
• Chevron
• Shell
• Exxon
• Lyondellbasell
• BASF
