Job Description:
UXR will interact directly with game/app-development teams, turning their needs and goals into research plans which will usually be usability tests/playtests, but sometimes surveys, and result in a better understanding of consumer needs and the user journey. For playtests, they will manage them wholly: writing the plan, working with recruiting to find the right participants, moderating the study, and synthesizing and presenting the findings. For surveys, they will also manage them from end to end: writing them, programming them in Client's internal tools or Qualtrics, pulling potential respondents in SQL (or purchasing them from a vendor), and analyzing the data in R or SPSS (support for this will be available) and writing the report.

- Experience turning qual and quant data into actionable insights
- Working with a diverse set of stakeholders
Nice to have/Preferred skills:
- Video game user research experience
- Survey writing expertise
- Experience working in entertainment, media, or music publishing industries
- Understanding of research agency landscape, especially agencies specializing in the entertainment/media research space
- App development user research
- VR user research experience
- Passion for video games and/or VR is sought, but not required
- Experience with analysis and data modeling in R or SPSS
Education Requirements/Background:
- Bachelors is required, preferably in Psychology or Sociology, any degree plus user research experience (5+ years) will do too
What is the interaction level this CW will have with the team/cross functional teams?
- Medium - High interaction level with XFN, especially external dev teams making apps for the Quest
Goals/Metrics How will performance be measured?
- Primarily, being able to execute research on time and reports being clear and actionable
