Workday Project Manager

10 Month Contract

We are seeking two senior-level Workday consultants for a 10+ month engagement (March 2025 through early 2026) to support a critical payroll entity transformation project mainly on the HR aspects (Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, Labor, recruiting etc.) which may overlap with tax/finance/systems. The ideal candidates will have:

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years Workday HCM/Payroll implementation experience
• Demonstrated experience in legal entity/payroll entity transitions
• Strong process mapping and documentation skills
• Experience with integration testing and validation
• Project management experience, particularly in timeline management and milestone tracking
• Deep understanding of multi-jurisdiction payroll compliance
• Experience with tax implications of entity transitions (W-2, Social Security, Medicare)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process mapping and impact analysis for entity transformation
• Manage testing and validation of system changes
• Create and maintain project timeline and deliverables
• Monitor and validate system integrations
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
• Document and archive legacy data
• Manage stakeholder communication and escalations

The ideal candidates will be self-starters with strong analytical skills and experience in complex system transitions. They should be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing concurrent workstreams.

This combination of requirements will help ensure you get candidates who can handle both the technical and project management aspects of the transformation while understanding the critical compliance and tax implications.
