We’re looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Workers’ Compensation Specialist to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. In this in-office role, you’ll manage workers’ compensation claims from start to finish, ensuring fair, timely, and compliant handling while supporting employees through their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all workers’ compensation claims.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and coordinate with employees, supervisors, and healthcare providers.
  • Guide injured employees through the claims process with empathy and clarity.
  • Ensure timely claim reporting, benefit payments, and compliance with state regulations.
  • Oversee return-to-work coordination and collaborate with departments to support employee reintegration.
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends and support proactive safety initiatives.
  • Participate in mediations, hearings, and settlements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s degree in business, HR, or related field (or 2+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree). Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in workers’ compensation claim administration or case management.
  • Preferred: Experience in large organizational settings and familiarity with national workers’ compensation laws.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations and HIPAA
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex cases with professionalism and empathy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and safety
